SUNDAY LEMONADE
After meeting in 2018 at a bootleg bar, Tys and Loz ran away together like Bonnie and Clyde. Only, instead of robbing banks, they formed their duo Sunday Lemonade and have been spreading their infectious joy, feel-good melodies and high-energy performance across the country. Coming from diverse musical backgrounds and influences, the pair found their groove in producing fresh, honest and optimistic songs, with an extra helping of sugar.
Over three and a half years of relentless touring has seen them play house concerts, busk on various streets, and support well-established acts such as guitar wiz Daniel Champagne, fizzy friends Electrik Lemonade, and Aussie icons (Murray from the Wiggle’s band) The Soul Movers. During the hectic Melbourne lockdowns of 2020-2021, Sunday Lemonade escaped interstate and pulled audiences out of their Covid-funk with their explosive shows. And prior to them becoming a pandemic dream, the pair even managed to squeeze in their first festival appearance, from which they took out the Nannup Music Festival emerging artist
award in 2020.
Sunday Lemonade have since completed a 26-show tour of WA and have released their first three singles 'Beyond the Hills', 'Countless Corners', and 'Smooth and Crunchy'. The duo also sold out their first two headline shows in a matter of days, performed at Commonfolk Coffee Mornington, as their first shows back since hitting the road for a couple of years.
It's safe to say you can expect to be uplifted through honest story-telling and plenty of laughter with this bubbly pair.
