The Sandhill Writer’s Club is a songwriting initiative with the intention of connecting a diverse range of singer-songwriters and musicians from all across the globe. The events are day-long songwriting intensives, with the key purpose of collaboration. 

 

Sandhill Records will invite experienced and/or award-winning songwriters to guest host and join in on writing sessions. This will broaden the Peninsula’s artist network and give local songwriters the opportunity work with some of Australia’s best, new talents. Each session will be concluded with an open mic opportunity for members to share works from their sessions for feedback from peers - a nurturing group of inspiring creatives.

 

The Writer’s Club events are by invitation only; all guests must become official Club Members and be invited to on-going events. However, all artists (of varying backgrounds, ages, styles etc) are encouraged to apply to join the SWC, as we want to celebrate as many artists as we can! 

 

Sandhill intend to review and respond to every application, with the desire to be as inclusive as possible.
